In 2022, the limited series, “Inventing Anna,” made a splash on the small screen, captivating home audiences across the globe. Having watched this show, myself, it is clear why the world could not stop binge-watching this crime mystery/thriller. Its true-story basis is confounding and its fictional adaptation is both cleverly written and intriguing. While episodes are on the longer end of the spectrum, each one flies by and leaves you on the edge of your seat. Additionally, it is a great resource for advanced English language learners.
